STEP is Nurche's primary program, and its three outcomes are Think Independently, Express Confidently and Participate Actively. Request one at https://www.nurche.com/book-demo and the Nurche team contacts you to agree a time. - Nurche is not a school, a tuition program or an English-language program. It complements regular education. - Founded by two parents, Prasanna and Srikanth. (https://www.nurche.com/about-nurche) ## How a class works - Build: the teacher introduces an engaging challenge, activity or real-life situation, and children explore the idea with guidance. - Practise: children make choices, explain their thinking, solve problems and listen to others, with teacher encouragement. - Transfer: children revisit the skill through a new challenge or everyday example so they gradually use it beyond a single activity. - Class stages: connect and warm up, core challenge, group practice, real-life transfer, reflection and a teacher note. - Progress is observed, not tested: teachers watch how a child reasons, expresses and participates, what support helps and whether skills carry into a different situation. ## Age bands - Ages 3–4: Explore & Express. Play, movement, simple choices, listening and sharing ideas through words, gestures and actions. - Ages 5–6: Connect & Communicate. Explain choices, follow instructions, solve simple problems and interact with others. - Ages 7–8: Think & Collaborate. Ask deeper questions, explain reasoning, consider different viewpoints and work together. - Ages 9–12: Reason & Take Initiative. Solve more complex challenges, make thoughtful decisions, collaborate and explore real-world situations. ## The 8 learning journeys Communication & Public Speaking; Emotional Intelligence & Social Skills; Listening, Focus & Memory; Critical Thinking & Problem Solving; Confidence & Personality Development; Creativity, Design & Innovation; Digital Literacy & Online Safety; Entrepreneurship & Financial Literacy.
